Pope[]
A Paladin is elected Pope by popular vote of the Cardinals. At election time, all Cardinals and the current Pope are automatically registered as candidates. Cardinals are responsible for electing the next Pope; the current Pope may not vote. Cardinals may enter their vote up to 3 times, but only the most recent vote will be recognized. Voting characters must remain logged in for the duration of the election or else their vote will not be processed.
The Pope is responsible for appointing one Bishop per cathedral. If a cathedral does not have a Bishop within 24 hours of the Pope beginning his rule, a NPC will be automatically appointed to the position. Paladins rank #16-50 may be appointed as Bishops. When the Pope is replaced, all appointed Bishops lose their status.
